About Grif

Adoption Fee: $175
Domestic Cat
Age: Young Kitten
Sex: Male

Grif is an adorable 11-week-old male kitten looking for a loving guardian - individually (to a home with other cats) or as a pair with his brother, or trio with two of his brothers! Grif is an orange tabby; Simba is a silver tabby; and his other brother Piglet is white with tabby patches. Their momma was a pregnant stray found in southern Illinois. She had her babies in a shelter cage on August 31st before being transferred to Friends of Petraits Rescue on September 3rd when the babies were only three days old. Mom and three of her kittens have already found their loving homes. They have all enjoyed a foster home with kids, cat-friendly dogs and other cats and adjust to just about any situation. They are perfect with their litter box, love their scratching posts, play with any toys they can get their paws on, and love to wrestle with each other! They are extremely healthy, neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, virus-tested negative, fecal-tested, dewormed and micro-chipped. Their adoption fee of $175 each or $300 as a pair benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits. If you're interested in meeting and possibly adopting any of these magnificent kittens, please contact [email protected] for an adoption application. Friends of Petraits Rescue does not adopt out single kittens unless there is another cat in their new home for them to play with. It is always in the best interest of kittens to be adopted out in pairs, or to a home with another feline friend. They are all currently living in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.
