About Delilah

We adopted Delilah about a year ago. Her previous owner had surrendered her to the shelter due to a UTI issue (since treated). She was extremely skittish and not super friendly but not aggressive or destructive. We had a kitten already and they played for a while but since the kitten has grown her playing has become more physical and it's caused stress issues in Delilah that have lead to her over-grooming and licking large amounts of fur off of herself. We switched her diet and tried calming methods but nothing seems to work. We hate to give up on her but she's deeply unhappy here and if there's someone - preferably someone with no other cats or maybe calm older cats - who might be able to offer her a more stable life, it might be for the best.
