Mike and Mack are brothers that were brought in to a high kill shelter together and fortunately, they were able to leave together because of a very kind foster that agreed to care for them while we worked on finding them a forever home. This is what we've learned about these special boys from their foster. Mike is referred to as a 'gentle giant'. He loves to be pet and can't get enough belly rubs. He looks after his little brother, Mack with great attention. He loves to run fast and seems to be the stronger brother. His favorite thing to do is play fetch. He is afraid of loud noises, loves affection and goes right into his crate when told to. He is very gentle with children and thinks he's a lap dog. Mack is the more curious brother and loves running around investigating the backyard and watching birds fly. He loves playing with Mike, and their favorite game to play is tug of war. Like his brother, he seems to be afraid of loud noises and is also very affectionate. He can't seem to get enough belly rubs. The only challenge their foster family has had has been with their cat. Mack and Mike will chase her and as dogs often will do so we think they should be in a home with no cats.
