About Maui

Maui is a young puppy who was surrendered when his owner could not find housing who would accommodate a dog. Maui's former owner did tell us Maui's mom is a Shih Tzu but father unknown. Maui takes a bit to warm up, and will need an understanding and patient family who will help him grow into a confident and sound dog. Maui fearful when meeting new people but attaches quickly and bonds strong to people he trusts. Maui is housebroken, crate trained, leash trained, and loves to play ball. Maui is passive and submissive with other dogs as well as the cat he was tested with. Older kids only with Maui as he needs quieter environment to come out of his shell. If you give this guy a chance you will see and understand how amazing he is.
