About Gracie

PLEASE READ GRACIE'S BIO THOROUGHLY BEFORE INQUIRING. Gracie is a ten pound 8 year old chihuahua/doxie mix. We rescued Gracie from the shelter after she had been attacked by another dog and then brought to the shelter by her prior owner. The shelter got her immediate medical care, but when it came time for her to leave, no one stepped up. Learning of her plight we immediately rescued her! Gracie is with one of our wonderful fosters and she is thriving in a loving home environment. She is with 3 other small dogs and is fine with them, but she really just wants to cuddle with a human being. She is calm and sweet and super easy going. It takes her a minute to trust and warm up, but once she feels safe she is very loving. She enjoys walks and laying around with her person. She is fully recovered and is now ready for her forever home. A calm, non-chaotic environment would be ideal. A retired person or couple or someone who works from home or could take her to work would be ideal. Gracie is spayed fully vaccinated and microchipped WE ONLY ADOPT IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AS A HOME CHECK AND TRIAL PERIOD ARE REQUIRED
