About Annabell

This is a stray that I have been fostering. Too big and strong for me! Affectionate but at the same time does not take to strangers, but I was a stranger at first too. She came to us as a stray and if she warmed up to us, givin the chance, she will warm up to you too. She was just scared of people. She is very loyal and guards well. Does not like being restrained , but took well to the harness when she realized it was for walking. I dont think she ever was introduced to a crate or kennel; she will refuse to go near it, when I tried at an adoption event, so we left. Took only a few days to trust us. She thinks she is small, but her back is 22 inches from floor. I have smaller older dogs. She is well with them, but they need to get out of her way so they don't accidentally get trampled. She sleeps in the house. in fact she would rather be in the house rather than out, and thinks shes a lap dog! I plan on giving the fee to the Rescue me organization. She is really a good dog and cant seem to get enough love; very affectionate. Gets used to routines, so Im sure she is trainable. Officially was said to be a Harrier, but I dont think so. I am guessing at the breed via questioning and research. This girl needs some space, someone with at least a couple acres or more.
