About Kodak (east)

Hi, my name is Kodak ID# A4333380 I am a 56 lb. brown and white American Pit Bull Terrier. I have been at the shelter since October 25, 2019, and the shelter staff think I am about three years old. When I first came into the shelter, I was friendly, allowed all handling, and vaccines. Sadly, I am set to be euthanized tomorrow. I am suffering from a clinical term they use at the shelter call 'kennel deterioration'. That means I am mentally suffering in my kennel. Some dogs here can handle this environment but not me, and, it is inhumane for the shelter to keep me here in this condition. Once I am out of my kennel.... I am tail-waggin lovable! My tail just won't stop! I love toys and I don't guard them. I know 'sit' take treats nicely and listen well (see my photos). I would be best with older children, and I am a bit timid and shy. You will notice that I am very affectionate and happy around people. I did OK in my dog evaluation with other dogs, but you really need to bring you dog(s) down for a dog intro to make sure we all get along....this is very important as we don't want any accidents to happen because if I am returned I would be doomed since I would be a 'returned e-lister'.
