*** SUCH A GOOD, GOOD BOY !! A real GEM of a dog ! *** 'AXEL' is a very handsome, 1.5 to 2 yr old, 60 lb., beautifully brindled Plott Hound mix male we rescued from a very high kill pound. Axel is a very sweet and affectionate boy who is very friendly with everyone he meets. Axel is good with other dogs of all sizes, but has not been cat-tested. A smart boy who is very eager to please. He wants to be your 'best boy'! Axel loves his bed, and this sweet, sweet, kind hearted boy is a cuddler. Axel walks wonderfully on a leash. Axel has been neutered, de-wormed, is current on vaccinations, on monthly heart worm preventative, crate-trained, leash-trained and house-trained. This rescue does not administer it's own vaccination shots, and all adult dogs have had booster vaccinations in addition to their initial vaccinations. (Puppies have 4 rounds of vaccinations, plus Rabies). All of our rescued dogs' medical care has been administered by a licensed Veterinarian. All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., pro-biotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
