About Mellow Mr Marlie

Hi, my name's Marlie and I'm a 4 year old neutered male Bassador (aka, Bassett Hound / Labrador Retriever blend) who's said to be a VERY SPECIAL find 'cause I'm the GOOFIEST, silliest, most HYSTERICALLY funny TEDDY BEAR kinda Dude in town! I'm a big GENTLE clown who loves to snuggle and a bit of a Momma's boy too but I'm learning to be the consummate house dog who knows how to behave like a gentleman, both indoors AND out! I have a stable, even temperament: HIGHLY INTELLIGENT, easy to train, AFFECTIONATE, extremely gentle, GREAT with other dogs and very WELL BEHAVED indoors knowing that's the place to be kicked back. I'm a SWEET boy who 's housebroken, crate trained and even sits for treats and/or attention instantly. I love to lay at your feet and play with my bone(s) or favorite toys and especially enjoy car rides where I sit nicely to take in the scenery! I can be a TOP CUDDLER, if someone(s) wants to snuggle but I always mind my manners in any situation. I make sure to announce the arrival of any strangers but I'm especially good with people! I have a heart of gold so I'm GREAT with other dogs and known to be beyond FABULOUS with children ~ and I especially enjoy spending my days frolicking with my Bestie, Twilight, gorgeous FUN creature that she is! We've both been living together in a home with cats so as long as yours don't run we should be fast friends. I'm SUPER EASY on a leash, learn really quickly and love to please. I'm said to be an EXCEPTIONAL canine ambassador, a GREAT COMPANION and friend because I have a heart as big as all outdoors. I'm just happy everyone's so pleased with me, but then I'm a HAPPY kinda guy anyway ~ bright, cheerful and GOOFY is what I'm all about! I'm looking for a special person(s) or a family of my own so I can stick by your side through thick and thin 'cause I'm the most LOYAL friend you'll ever encounter!
