About Invincible Mr Imperius

Hi there, Mare herself named me Imperius for the famed 'Archangel of Valor' 'cause I'm the kind of SAINT most people are looking for! I'm a pure bred, 18 month old neutered male Rottweiler that's said to be THE absolute BESTEST BOY in town, nothing but solid love and laughter through and through !!! A shelter sent me to rescue with one of the worst abscesses Mare and the vet have ever seen, my body kept trying to go septic but my strong will to survive and a LOT of help has me in peak health today! All that care was not so fun but I remained cooperative, loving and courageous through it all, despite the pain and high fevers so Mare named me for my valor, but she calls me IMP for my silly, fun loving nature. I'm a CALM, quiet, EXTREMELY GENTLE boy who is known to be a TOTAL house dog, having lived my entire life indoors with my humans! I'm easy going indoors (and out) and ALWAYS display impeccable manners, lounging quietly at your feet with a favorite toy to be the perfect companion. I enjoy long walks and I'd be a marvelous hiking companion, beyond willing to engage in just about anything that makes YOU happy so that we can spend time together cause I am SUPER devoted to MY human! I have a super stable, EVEN temperament and I'm HIGHLY INTELLIGENT, easy to train, SUPER AFFECTIONATE, extremely gentle and very WELL BEHAVED indoors knowing that's the place to be kicked back. I make sure to announce the arrival of any strangers but I'm especially good with people if they're good intentioned AND good to me! I have a heart of gold, learn really quickly and love to please my people. Mare says I'm the PERFECT breed ambassador, a GREAT companion and friend because I'm SUPER cooperative and have a heart as big as all outdoors. I'm just happy she's so pleased with me, but then I'm such an easy going kinda guy that I just smile and bask in ALL the praise ! I'm also completely house, crate (though I certainly don't require one) and car trained, sit nicely for treats and doors without being asked and walk very politely on lead as a true gentleman should AND I know my sit, stay, off, heel (inherently), wait and load up commands too ~ I love to go out and about, putting my head through the loop and walking NICELY on lead to go for another adventure ! The most LOYAL friend you'll ever encounter, I long to find that special person(s) who will appreciate my STERLING personality and the life time of pure, SOLID devotion I'll gladly give them in return!
