Luna was rescued out of a ditch in Houston as a young puppy. Luna is very energetic and needs someone to take her on walks and run & play with her. Her current owners are unable to give Luna the attention she needs, and she ends up outside or in a crate most of the time. This is unfair to Luna and the potential that she has. Luna would benefit from obedience training, but the owners cannot afford to put her into training. Luna is gentle around their two year old daughter, and she gets along well with their other two dogs. She is food aggressive, but this is easily solved by feeding her by herself. Luna loves to run and jump, and she does try to escape the backyard. The owners believe this is due to the fact that Luna is often left alone in the yard to entertain herself. Luna appears to have a high prey drive. She likes opossums, frogs, snakes, birds, and anything that doesn't belong in her backyard. She appears to get along better with non-alpha dogs. Luna is very active around other dogs, but when it's just her and her human she just wants to snuggle and play. Luna is located in Leander, TX; and the owners are willing to drive to give Luna the good, loving home she deserves. This is a courtesy posting.
