About Winston

Winston is a very sweet one-year-old poodle. I picked him up from a previous foster further south and brought him to Michigan because I noticed there were fewer poodles available for adoption. Winston was presented to me as a purebred miniature poodle. He looks like one but when I let him play in the backyard he is quite fast and jumps pretty high which makes me think he has some jack Russell or Airedale terrier in him. He definitely needs a fenced-in yard. When he first came to me, he was quite meek and a little subdued. But as his confidence as grown, he has learned he still has a lot of puppy in him and he likes to run and play. He would do well in a home with another dog or two-or at least a kid (or a grown-up kid) to play with. This is not a dog that would do well left alone for long periods of time-he is much too social. Winston is current on vaccinations and very healthy. I had him to the vet last on November 23 for his one-year wellness check; he should not require additional vetting until he is due for his rabies vaccine in March, 2020. I am really hoping to find a happy home for this happy dog.
