About Clover (east)

Hi, my name is CLOVER - ID#A4334124. I am a female, brown and white American Pit Bull Terrier mix. The shelter staff think I am about 6 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Oct 29, 2019. Recent notes from a volunteer: 'This little girl (about 40 lbs) hopped up to greet me in her kennel, walked to the yard politely and had a smile and tail wag for every single person we saw on the way. She also isn't feeling so hot and has a cold. Clover came into the shelter as a stray and her back legs don't quite work the right way. It is believed she has bi-lateral luxating patellas. Basically, her kneecap doesn't fit in the groove well so instead of working like the hinge it should, it moves around. This causes her to sometimes hop and her legs also bow outward. When she saw another volunteer had an open trunk, she hopped herself right in to hit the road. I wish I could have told her it was her trip outta there but she did get a yummy sammy from another great volunteer before having to hop out and go back to her kennel. With her medical, no dog assessment has been done, but she is very friendly with people and not reactive to the other dogs when walking around.'
