About Brit - PENDING

Adoption Fee: $375
Lab / Dachshund
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Male

Introducing Brenna & Brit who are adorable Low Riders about 12 weeks old as of 11/12/19 and weigh about 12 lbs each. They are from a kill shelter in MS and have been fortunate to spend time in a loving foster home before traveling to VT. Their foster mom has already working with the puppies on housebreaking and crate training skills. Foster mom shared: 'Brit will play, but he's more laid back and loves to be cuddled. Brenna likes to be cuddled, but is a bit more active. They will sleep through the night, are curious and playful. They've already learned to Sit. Pups have very good appetites.' Brenna & Brit get along well with other dogs and are at a great age to introduce to cats. They are socialized, and eager to learn new skills. We do not provide DNA testing which is the only way to know with certainty which breeds are in their genetic background. Our best guess is that they are Labs mixed with a short legged breed such as Basset Hound or Dachshund. We expect them to reach 20-30 lbs as adults, but we can not guarantee size at maturity. Highlights about Brenna & Brit: - Working on House breaking - Crate trained - Enjoy playing with other dogs - Friendly, Affectionate & Snuggly - Food motivated - Already learning basic commands such as Sit - Up-to-date on vaccines - Have not been spayed or neutered* * Based on current veterinary recommendations, these pups have not been spayed or neutered due to their young age. We do require proof of this procedure at a later date as part of the terms of our Adoption Agreement. Please discuss the correct time for this to be done with your veterinarian. We can provide a $75 rebate once the procedure is completed. Our adoption fee is $375 which includes age appropriate vaccines (such as Distemper, Bordetella, Parvo, Rabies), worming, micro-chipping, and health exam. Discount vouchers for training, grooming and similar dog related products and services are provided. NEW: First vet visit is now FREE with participating VT veterinarians.
