About Abby

Abby is a very loving, loyal dog that loves the outdoors loves being on water and loves driving in the truck. She was abused when we got her 7 years ago so she barked a lot and still does at people coming to the house but once she gets to know them she is good. She has been around lots of people and kids and always around cats. She hates fireworks and storms and doesn't like being alone. She gets anxious when we leave and very excited when we come home. We took in my sons 2 female labs 9 months ago because he is out of the country for the next 2 years and it hasn't gone well at all. Abby is very aggressive to one of the dogs and attacks her almost daily. We are not in a position to always be home to keep them apart so reluctantly we have to permanently separate them before the lab ends up getting badly hurt. A home without other dogs and lots of room to roam and welcomed into the home for lots of petting would be an ideal setting for Abby
