About Clyde

Hello my name is Clyde. I found myself in a high kill shelter where I was taken by animal control because my owners weren't good to me. I had to live all my life in a crate on a porch. When I got to the shelter they put me on the euthanasia list because of my age. I haven't seen much of the world but I'm incredibly thankful and happy for just a little grass and sun, and some nice words and love. It takes me a little time to warm up and trust, but I am now house broken, very quiet and well behaved . I am a sweet gentle soul needing a place to live out the rest of my life where I will be loved and have a comfy bed to sleep in each night. The vet said I am between 8-10 years old and I weigh 45 pds. My people aren't for sure exactly what breed I am but I look a lot like a Shar-pei and lab mix but I could also be mixed with other breeds as well. All I know is that I am a good boy and play well with other dogs and very loveable. I do like to chase cats though so if you have cats it's probably best to keep the cats away from me. My foster said I am good with kids 7 years and up but little kids scares me and I could jump up on them not meaning to hurt them. I need a foster or adopter in NC so I can get to my rescue to hopefully find my forever home. I sure hope someone chooses me fast so I can start my new journey and know what a real family is like again. Please contact my rescue if you can help me. Love Clyde
