About Charlotte

Hello my name is Charlotte and I am a 2.5 yr old female shepherd hound mix per my paperwork. I was pulled from Harris County Animal Shelter in Houston TX on my last day to live and was a shelter favorite. I was transported to my rescue in NC on 11/21/19 so now I am waiting on my new family to choose me. I was an owner surrender and not sure what I did wrong for them to take me there. The work moving came up so I guess they couldn't take me with them and I was so scared at that scary place. I waited and waited but they never came back. I am a happy girl who loves attention and feeling better now since I had a cough at the shelter and a runny nose. A very nice lady came to pull me and took me to the doctor so I could get medicine. I was kenneled with other dogs at the shelter and dog and people friendly. I'm not sure if I am cat friendly or not since I'm not sure if I have even seen one. I am a small girl and only weight 37 pounds. I am HW negative, microchipped , UTD on shots, spayed and available for adoption now. I am a sweet girl and want nothing more than to find my family that will never leave me at a shelter ever again. I am currently at a doggie daycare boarding facility where I get to play with other dogs and get lots of attention. Some of my others friends from the shelter is there also but we are happy and taken care if. . I would rather have a sofa to lay on and a soft cozy floor and bed so if you could foster me or take me into your family as one of your own and love me forever that would be great.
