About Luna

Luna is ready to find her home. We believe she is 8-10 years old. She came in with a double ear infection, a mild case of pyometra, pneumonia and a nasty mouth. She has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, is free of any tick-borne diseases and heartworm negative. We have a few more days before her dental can be scheduled, but she is on her way to being one healthy, happy girl and is convinced it's time to start the search for her new home. She is housetrained, walks well on a leash, loves to be near you in the house, and is happy to go to her crate at bedtime. She's very active and adores attention. Luna gets along with other dogs of her size or slightly bigger with proper introductions. She does not share well and absolutely must be fed separately from any other dog in the home. (We believe that everyone should be fed separately at mealtime. Feeding in separate crates or different rooms is always best.) Luna is a great older girl looking for the perfect place to spend the rest of her years.
