About Bear

Please take a moment to meet 'Bear'. He is a snuggle bug terrier mix, approximately 3 months old. We are currently fostering Bear until the perfect fur-ever can be found. In my opinion, he is a mellow little fellow, especially for a puppy. He would be perfectly happy cuddling for long periods. He is a puppy, though, and working on house training and is very treat motivated. Bear seems to enjoy short walks and is fairly well behaved on leash. His temperament has been wonderfully tolerant with my 6 year old. Bear is playful in spurts and so far his favorite toy has been a chew bone. We are using a crate at night, which Bear easily enters. He seems comfortable in the crate but does whimper and bark when left alone. Bear is being fostered in the Olympia, WA area and can be met with an approved application. His adoption fee is $450 which covers his neuter, vaccinations appropriate for his age, flea/tick treatment, microchip and transport fees associated with getting him from his rescue in TX to his foster in WA.
