About Maverick

Maverick is an adorable 15 week old Retriever mix who weighs 30 pounds. He has long sturdy legs and big paws. Maverick's coat is beautiful with a little bit of wave to his fur. Maverick was found as a stray with a rope tied around his neck along a busy road in Cedar Rapids. Fully grown we would expect him to be in the 60-80 pound range. He requires a home with a fenced yard so he can run and play safely. Maverick plays well with other dogs his size and would love to have a buddy in his home. His forever home should not have a cat. He views them as toys to chase, the cats at his foster home are not amused. Maverick is doing well at his housetraining but is still a baby. His forever home needs to have the ability to get him out to potty every 4 hours throughout the day until�'��he is older.�'�� Maverick is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped.
