About Lil Bit

Lil Bit is a very handsome little man with tons of personality! He has a very unique mix as a Jack Russell and Blue Heeler. His character is a happy, energetic dog with a strong desire to show and receive affection, which makes him ideal for companionship. He is highly intelligent, very alert, attentive, and eager to please. He enjoys playing with toys, running to catch a ball, and has the longer legs that the two national associations officially recognized as a Jack Russell terrier breed. Li' Bit's Blue Heeler side, which was created from mixing Dingoes with Collies, makes him even more the ideal human companion that is intelligent, resourceful, active, and protective! So, again he has the solid, sturdy, compact, and alert characteristics that makes him so much fun. His ready-to-work stance is an attention-getter. His body is is strong with muscular legs, a strong neck, and handsome broad, somewhat rounded head. His coat is short, weather-resistant, and does not shed, with a curved, hanging tail. Lil Bit absolutely loves positive feedback and good treatment. When you watch him you can tell that he is always aware and paying attention. Although close to age 11, his health is excellent, looks and acts much younger, is house trained, and is still highly trainable due to his intelligence level. He just renewed his rabies shot, had his nails trimmed, and is ready to be loved in a new forever home. His mommy loves him dearly but is not able to keep him any longer. Lil Bit would fare best in a home without other dogs so he could receive all the attention. If you want a companion who can go out with you and enjoy doing things, he is your man. And he enjoys car rides! He will be protective of you, is slightly possessive and will seek to protect you as man's best friend and his boundless loyalty - similar to a favorite toy or bed. His current owners are an adult woman and young boy age 10, so with a little patience he will relax and this will be corrected. However, I think Lil Bit would fare best in a home without other dogs and small children so he won't have any rivals for all the attention he enjoys. If you want a companion who can go out with you and enjoy doing things, he is your man. Lil Bit can be transported to you. 100% of the $50 adoption fee will go toward the food and supplies that will come with him so you will be all set to bring him home and ready to love this very special baby boy.
