About Jake

Jake is originally from the Caribbean Island of St Maarten. He is a 4 year old, Vizsla short haired pointer brindle mix. Vizslas are known as loyal companions & the smallest of the pointer-retriever breeds. Jake is fully grown. Jake is affectionate, loyal, energetic, gentle, with all vaccines current & in excellent health. Very loving, playful, cuddles & loves to ride in the car. Jake is house broken. He is extremely timid/skittish with strangers until he warms up to them. We suggest that Jake lives in a home as either the only dog or with a female dog. We need to re-home Jake since our older male dog initiates terrible fights with Jake. We are willing to work with the right adopter for Jake, to help Jake get acclimated to his new home.
