About Whiskey

[Read About Natural Incontinence Care] We have a young husky. Male. About 9 months old, I think. He is actually my son's. And he has more details. Whiskey is great with people, but loves to jump on you. Likely trainable out. But we just don't have the time he needs. And he has begun digging out of the yard. So we have had to restrict him to a chain when nobody can be there or lock him in the washroom. He was brought into the family for a companion to our German Shepherd. He doesn't fight but does play rough; and loves kids (we have a large family with five young children around on a daily basis). He has been diagnosed with an issue with his kidney, which causes him to tinkle a lot, and this is also an issue in our house. My son was told he would need to have the kidney removed, at which time he would have to go on a specific diet. This is an expensive, and long term, option that my young son (19) is not equipped to deal with. And I can't afford the care. I think he can go on like he is now, but will continue to have the tinkling issues. If he would not dig out, we would likely just make him an outside dog. But, I have my four youngest sons living at home and am daycare for 3 grandsons. I think Whiskey needs more one on one attention.
