About Kingston

Red and white pit bull mix. 1 year 5mo. old neutered male. Very handsome boy! Loves people! Mostly he is shy... although he has shown resource guarding with our older female dog. So until he has further training an all adult home is smarter. We recommend that he be the only dog in the home. Very loyal, very athletic, loves to play ball, loves to learn, loves ALL THE PEOPLE!!! Knows all the basic commands: sit, come, stay, down,give, leave it, shake and others like; all done, back up, off, out, kiss, & gentle. He's been through basic training but is shy and has fears... so we are going through it again. He is unsure of the outside world, he was very sick as puppy and was hand raised without his mama... although he did have his litter mates until 4/5months old. He needs someone that will help him daily be more confident. He trusts people 100% so it's only a matter of introducing him to all the new things that scare him. Patience and persistence are what he needs. He's super loyal and needs someone that will come through for him so that he can live his best life! He has not been around small children, he's never shown any bad manners at all to people. He's a big strong dog, so I would recommend cautious introductions. Fee to be donated to the shelter that we rescued him from.
