About Miranda

'Hello! My name is Miranda and I'm a 3-4 year old Dachshund/Cardigan Welsh Corgi/something-or-another that came to SVASC when my owners were no longer able to properly care for me anymore. Now I'm ready to get back out there and find a furever home... and hopefully soon because sleeping in a kennel when you're used to a bed kind of sucks. Anyways, I am a very sweet and loving pup. When I first arrived at the shelter, I was very scared and didn't want the staff to handle me, but I have slowly come around. Now I'm just about the sweetest pup ever with folks that I know! I love to play and am especially great at fetch. I'm really great at it and bring the ball back almost every time. I also love going for walkies and am actually pretty easy on the leash. My previous owners report that I am house-trained. I am not trustworthy off leash, so my adopters should be prepared to leash walk or have a fenced in yard. I am great with other dogs and do well with them. I love to make buddies with other pups and would be okay in a home with them. I would love to meet any current dogs in the home before going home though. I am also said to be okay with kitties and have tested well with cats at the shelter so far. I would like a home without any kiddos please. My adoption fee is $35 to an approved adopter.
