About Knox

Meet Knox a presumed Bull Dog mix. This lovable boy is about 2 years old and looking for a new home. Knox weighs 75lbs. Knox is a wigglebutt and a social butterfly. When you first meet him, he will give you a big toothy smile :) Knox likes other dogs, but needs a tolerant dog as he tends to throw his weight around. Knox is being sponsored by Shelter Friends as part of their Heartworm Heroes program to help treat his heartworm disease. Treatment is paid for--he just needs an adopter who can keep him on his medication schedule. After treatment, that will all be behind him! You are encouraged to make every effort to visit the shelter for a meet and greet. Staff available to assist. You can walk on the trails and interact in the play yards. Unless otherwise noted, we can not say if a dog does well with cats, livestock or chickens or with the dogs you may already have in your home or at dog parks. So please, if you have a dog, please arrange to bring for a meet and greet. Current vaccinations, spayed or neutered and micro chipped.
