About Sheldon

Hi, I'm Sheldon ��%90%BE I'm a two year old Papillon mix and I weigh around 10 pounds. I was found with 50% of my fur missing on my backside, covered in fleas and emaciated. It's took weeks for me to come out of my shell, I stayed under the bed for a week straight in fear. My foster parents make sure to give me extra time and space needed to make me feel comfortable. Each day I get braver and I'm learning to trust again. I even jump in their lap now for some movie night snuggles. My ideal family would be an understanding one who will give me lots of time to adjust and willing to gain my trust. Little kids scar me so I would prefer older kids only. I get along with other dogs and didn't seem to mind cats. I'm learning to walk on a leash so a fenced in yard would be great. I do have to warn you I'm scared to death of bugs and freak out when I see them. My foster mom wonders if maybe I was left outside in my past to make me so fearful.
