About Winter

Winter (fka Gwinner) Winter is is 16#, 2-3 y/o Poodle who found herself in an overcrowded shelter in El Paso. We believe she is a Weeniepoo (Dachshund/poodle). When found as a stray in Texas she was horribly matted and probably spent her first 2 years alone in a back yard. She didn't seem to know what to do when she first came inside a home. But, boy does she love it!!! She had to be shaved very short to be able to get her clean and to get the matted hair off of her. Her foster mom and dad say she is a sweetheart!! She LOVES kisses and is a total wiggle butt!! When she gets excited her entire body wags!! Winter gets along with big and small dogs both. She seems to attach/bond with older men more than females, but loves both! Winter is looking for a home with someone that will be with her most of the day. She likes to play with other small dogs. This little girl has so much love to give to her new furever family!!!
