About Lucy

October update: Shelter life is so hard for some dogs, especially Lucy. She came out of her kennel like a rocket, dying to get away from the chaos of the kennels. Once away she is your typical puppy - happy, spunky, and full of love. She did well with other dogs and didn't react to the cats in the kennels. She seems a little intimidated by men (most of the shelter employees are men) and clams up around them but loves women. Poor Lucy is struggling in the shelter. While she looks happy in her pictures, she is petrified. She had to be carried out of the building and took a lot of coaxing to get her into the play yard. Because she was so scared, we didn't want to make it worse by introducing her to the dogs.
