About Corky

Corky is a 4-month-old boy with the adorable short-legged body style of a Teddy, or Type B, Rat Terrier. Currently just 6 lbs., Corky will likely weigh 12-15 lbs. as an adult. He's a playful little fellow, who adores the other dogs and even the cats in his foster home. He happily follows his canine foster siblings outside to play or eliminate in the fenced yard, and he's pretty good about coming in when he's called. Like all young pups, his potty training is still a work in progress. Corky can be a little timid and slow to warm up and trust humans. He'll need you to be calm and patient so that he can feel safe and blossom into the loving playful boy he wants to be. He has already learned to accept belly rubs and kisses from his foster mom, and he has become confident enough to vocally express his opinion that it's time for her to feed him!
