ROCK STAR PUPPY ALERT!! Sweet, friendly and fun-loving, ROSIE is just 11 months old and 50lbs of FUN FUN FUN. She is a lovely medley of BoxyLab and hound mix. What does her kennel caretaker have to say about this adorable puppy? 'ROSIE really is a great dog who is eager to please her people. She is loving, super sweet and affectionate and will make the best family pet! Inquisitive, smart, playful, and friendly, ROSIE wants everyone to love her. She loves to play with other adult dogs at the kennel and would make an awesome playmate for a pup in need of a companion or an active family member who's looking for a jogging partner or hiking buddy.' ROSIE sounds like an awesome puppy, doesn't she? If you like what you hear and see, get your applications in. ROSIE won't be around for long. ROSIE is spayed, heartworm negative and up to date on core vaccines. The adoption fee is $400. Please note that training is highly recommended for all young dogs. As with all rescue animals, breed determination cannot be validated without genetic testing. Visit WWW.LULUSRESCUE.ORG and click on the ADOPT tab for an overview of Lulu's Rescue adoption process. Thanks for adopting and saving a life -- you are ROSIE's hero! IF YOU THINK THE ADOPTION FEE IS TOO HIGH CONSIDER THIS: Following are the INTAKE COSTS for most of Lulu's rescue pups: Shelter release fee ($75); Spay/neuter ($100); a full panel of bloodwork, shots, vaccines and microchipping ($95-200); heartworm test and prevention ($50+); and transport fee to New Hope, PA for dogs pulled from high kill shelters in the South ($125); And those are just intake costs%BD'%BD| Before transport, we may kennel pups in Southern kennels and Lulu's supplies all the necessities for its pups in foster care.... premium food, medication, preventatives, crates, harnesses. TREATMENT OF WOUNDS AND ILLNESSES related to ears, eyes, teeth, heart, kidney, pregnant, broken or damaged legs or paws, etc, may be necessary to stabilize or improve the dogs quality of life. Lulu's takes care of such health concerns as well. We don't leave a rescue pup behind because it needs extra medical care before going to its forever home. Often Lulu's is one of the few rescues who are willing to help such pups. Now do you still think that $400 adoption donation is unreasonable?
