About Whimsy

This little girl is both fanciful and a touch odd in her demeanor and presentation. She is a little sprite of a girl with the most adorable scruffy face, pointy little ears, and stubbish tail. But what is really intriguing about her is her personality which she keeps a bit guarded until she fully trusts you. She is a whimsical little character and her name, Whimsy, fits her perfectly! Whimsy came all the way from Alabama to Chicago not only with a dusting of fairy dust but 4 adorable little pups as well. They have all since been adopted into loving homes(thank goodness!) and then Whimsy came to us. It took us a while for Whimsy to let her guard down and fully trust us, actually we are still working on that, that is part of her charm. She has such a little twinkle about her that draws you in and makes you want to earn her trust, and then she gives kisses, snuggles in and will be your best pal, on her terms! Whimsy is looking for a special family/person that perhaps is unique as well. She will do well with someone that will help her explore even more of the world and feel a bit more confident going forward. Whimsy was adopted for a few month by a family but they returned her when they said she growled at some children. She was crated at the time so that may have been a part of the problem. Previously she had met children and was wonderful. So, for that reason we are saying no small children, older kids will be fine. She is just 3 years old and 9 pounds, and such a love!
