About Liberty

Houston, TX Miss Liberty is not your typical Dane. First, she is a petite, dainty girl who loves to prance. Her ideal weight will probably be at 85-90 lbs. She is super energetic and is always zipping around which is why I sometimes call her Zippy. Liberty really needs lots of room - inside and out to run. She loves to run so lots of floor space would be ideal. Liberty LOVES squeaky toys and knucklebones. She is a independent girl. She gets along with my 2 danes (male and female) but does fine without them too. Cats are okay too but kids are not. She is not velcro at all but likes to be petted and told how pretty she is. She will even give you kisses. Liberty is an excellent snuggler in bed and because of her size, she doesn't take up the entire bed. She is great at bathes, nail trims and ear cleanings. She is a great protective barker. She has a very loud and convincing mean bark (much more convincing than my 140lb dane). I am working on basic commands with her at present. She has never had an accident in the house. Liberty does has an eating/esophageal issue. Her food must be finely ground and then made into mush with hot water. She is currently eating 3 meals a day until she reaches her ideal weight. She will need to be feed either ground up kibble or a food like Honest Kitchen her entire life.
