About Stella

**PLEASE STELLA'S BIO THOROUGHLY BEFORE INQUIRING-thank you** Stella is a medium sized dog - She is a 40 pound Lab/Shepherd mix and is approximately 2 years old. She was rescued from a high kill shelter where she was curled up in the back of her cage, terrified. Stella was set to be euthanized. She was rescued at the 11th hour by a woman who felt sorry for her but could not keep her. Stella did well in her home, but as an only dog, but had never been socialized. We took her in, and immediately got her to our wonderful trainer, Patrick, who has been working with her for a month. She loves people, and warms up quickly once she trusts you. is crate trained now , and walks well on a leash, but Patrick feels that she has a strong prey drive, and would be best in a home as an only dog, or with another big dog. We are looking for experienced dog owners, who are willing to put time and love into this most deserving, pretty girl. Stella is spayed, microchipped and current on vaccines. WE ONLY ADOPT IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AS A HOME CHECK AND TRIAL PERIOD ARE REQUIRED.
