About Yuki

Sweet Yuki (aka Ukee) is an adorable approx 2 yr old smaller pittie/terrier mix who has found herself in a bit of a tough situation lately. Earlier this year she found herself as a stray in Philadelphia and joined us at Dog Town Rescue. After a little time with us we were contacted by her original owner. Yuki had gotten away from her family when her owner suffered a medical crisis while walking the dog, and Yuki got spooked and ran away in all the chaos. They were actually visiting Philly from Hawaii! Yuki's owner was able to reclaim her but life happened to their family, as it sometimes does, and they just didn't have the time or resources for her anymore so she is back among her friends at Dog Town while she waits for her forever family. Yuki does great with other dogs who are comfortable with her rather forward and goofy play style. She will also benefit from a family willing to work with her on training and basic manners. Yuki has previously lived with a young child, and although they were good friends she sometimes played a little rough and may do better with kids schoo aged and older. Yuki is up to date on vet care, including spay/neuter, vaccinations and is microchipped.
