About Roscoe

Roscoe is a 6 year old male purebred pitbull. His coat is gray with a white chest and paws. He is neutered and up to date with his shots. Currently Roscoe is staying at my dads house, but is being neglected by him and leaves him locked in a room. I drive there everyday for a couple hours to let him out and feed him, but it is clear that this is not the best home or living situation for him. I need help finding him a new home and owner that can love him and spend time with him. He is great with people and kids, but is animal aggressive and is only friendly with our other small dog. He was socialized when he was younger and has experience with training in the past, but due to busy schedule I couldn't continue. His aggressive behavior started with a neighbor dog that harassed him through the other side of the gate everyday and I couldn't put in the time to correct it. Although he has aggressive tendencies toward animals, Roscoe is an incredibly loving and affectionate dog. He loves to receive tons of kisses and to snuggle closely. He is very smart, knows lots of tricks, and is house trained well. Roscoe just needs a loving owner that can spend lots of time with him and have space for him to be outside. I know if he can find someone that is willing to work with him he can be capable of socializing with other animals and even more well behaved than he already is. Please help find my sweet Roscoe a better home.
