About Arthur

Arthur is a German Shepherd/Malinois/Boxer mix that is 1.5 years old. We got him as an 8 week old puppy and have had him since. He is approximately 70 lbs (full grown). He's incredibly intelligent and needs to be physically stimulated, as well as mentally stimulated often. He is professionally off leash trained and has been trained on an e-collar. He is good with most adults yet hasn't been exposed to children very often. Given his shepherd nature he is protective of house and family so guests will need to be introduced accordingly. He interacts well with dogs yet could use a little bit of work with them as he usually approaches with high energy. He will need an experienced dog owner as he has some aggression issues when it comes to food that we have not been able to overcome. He will also need an owner who can devote time and energy to keeping him stimulated and active. We are in no hurry to re-home him but would like to start looking for potential candidates. Thank you.
