About Jasmine

Welcome Jasmine to CCPAL. She is a 2-year old Border Collie Lab. She is mellow and has some very good service dog qualities. She came from a home with a handicapped woman. She sticks right by your side and does not jump up. She is potty trained, good with other dogs, kids and cats. She is mellow and has a very still and observant quality. The lady used her to steady herself so Jasmine stiffens her body and even her head when you balance your hand on her back. She was never trained to be a service dog but she has been of great service to her owner. The owner now feels they would be best in another home so he has so graciously surrendered them to CCPAL. They have gotten out of the yard a couple of times due to the fence having some breaches. This is such a high-kill area that she now feels they would be better in another home. Jasmine would love to be helpful to another woman. She adores females and warms up to men more slowly. She would make a perfect companion for any woman just wanting a buddy dog to have at your side who would follow and watch after you as you go from room to room. She is respectful of space and content at your feet. She weighs 45 pounds and is healthy and ready for her forever home. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with a transporter to deliver her to Washington, Portland, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and all along the East Coast.
