About Alice

Welcome Alice to CCPAL. She is a 2-year-old White German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix is our best guess. She is long and leggy and would be great on walks, hikes or runs. She can currently walk off leash and heal nicely with her foster dad. She knows sit and is decent on the leash. She is crate trained and in a foster home with teenagers and other dogs. She is doing great with all. She was dumped with her brother Finley at Lake Finley and picked up by the wonderful foster family, the Copelands, here in Texas. She is the shyer one of the two-pack and her brother the more outgoing of the two. They are beautiful dogs and would love to find a family that has enough love to give 2 dogs. If you have a fenced yard a lot of their exercise needs are met with each other so they would not need lots of extra work on your part. They have a long beautiful 2.5-inch coat and would be great in the colder climates. They are currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with a transporter to have them delivered to Washington, Portland, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Vermont and all along the East Coast. Alice and Finley will be great family companions. They are alert to the environment and notice when something is not right. They will alert you with a bark. They are not incessant barkers but very aware of the environment. If your husband works out of town and you want a pair of dogs to make your family feel safe these would be a good pick. They love all people and once you tell them the person is your friend. Their adoption fee is 300 for both dogs and 185 for transport per dog.
