About Octavia

Octavia is a very calm, 2 year old husky mix who was found as a stray just outside of Houston. She is still a little bit shy but is starting to come out of her shell. She walks well on a leash and seems like she would be easy to train. She is a little bit too skinny, so she may have been neglected or just been on the streets for a long time, but we are confident that once she gets regular meals and gets the love she deserves, she will warm up and be a wonderful, devoted pet. She is heartworm positive, but heartworms are easily treated as long as she can get out of the shelter. The shelter is way too stressful for heartworm treatment to be successful. Don't hesitate to ask any questions. Octavia is fully grown at 40lbs, is current on vaccinations, and will be spayed prior to adoption.
