About Crook

Crook is a 7 month old, male husky. He joined our family of 4 as a fluffy 10 week old puppy. In our household we have Two adults, 3 year old female child and 6 year old female pit bull named Stella. We have an acre of fenced in land. Crook came to our house with every intention of having a indoor dog as Stella is indoor more often then out. Comes to find out, huskies love to be outside. We were outside during the summer months with him into the fall, but as the weather cools we found ourself outside less. He is a master escape artist as it seems a lot of huskies are. He has snuck out 7 times to adventure. We have gotten him back with lots of posts online and animal control picking him up once. He has had his first round of shots and is scheduled end of month for second round and neutering. He is not microchipped as of yet. With lots of regret, we have decided he is not the right fit for our family. We are very busy young parents and we do not have enough time to provide to this high, energetic breed. One of us is home thruout the day, but I don't feel it is enough. He has been aggressive with our girl Stella during feeding. He has caused blood and scars and plays rough with her. He is very friendly with other people when they come over and with my daughter. He is unsure of how big he is and how fast, he doesn't know his strength and can knock little people over. He is a very nice dog, but needs more training and someone who understands this breed. He knows basics. Sit , shake, lay down, and working on crawling. He is still working on potty training as he is very stubborn and does not acknowledge he is inside of a house. I am looking to re-Home him to a family who has had this breed prior to or has this breed within the household. I believe I do not have enough knowledge for this breed and would love him to have the best. He is beautiful. Amazing soft fur and diamond colored eyes. He just wants to be loved and cuddled. Please consider him as the next part of your pack.
