About Jack

Adoption Fee: $400
Saint Bernard
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Jack AKA Chomper or Chomps is ready for a family of his own. His nickname comes from his air chomps when he's excited. Jack is a lover boy. He loves people! He loves going out to public events and meeting people. And of course everyone loves him. He came from a home with small children & cats. He also loves the female dogs. Large male dogs he's not so much a fan of. Also he's great with smaller dogs. He doesn't realize his size & can play a little rough more so outside. So he's not a good dog park dog. He would be completely happy being an only dog as well. He loves to spend his time chilling out in the house. He is housebroken. He is crate trained but can be left out home alone and completely trusted. He is 4 yrs old & is neutered & UTD on vaccines & preventatives. He came to us with heartworms & now after treatment he is free of those parasites. He also needed eyelid surgery when he came to us and that has been done. He will potential need eyed drops to treat dry eye for the rest of his life. A $70 bottle should last 3+ months. He's currently being fostered in the Nashville TN area. We do adopt out of state but require adopters to travel to the foster home to pick up the dog. There is an adoption fee to help the rescue recoup a small amount of the cost of his care while in the rescue.
