About Spike

Meet Spike! This is the most amazingly sweet boy that loves everyone and is dog friendly with females. He needs some special people to adopt him and give him a loving place. He is currently on slow kill for heartworm infection ( which is curable) and he is not infectious just needs a heartworm preventative chew once a month. The rescue will provide a years worth of Heartguard . He also has had growths removed at the shelter and unfortunately they did not do biopsies on the tissue so at this point it is unclear if they were cancerous or benign. Because of his issues Spike may be hospice but he may not be either. For sure he needs a loving home for the rest of his years. He is a huge short beefy boy with the most incredible loving brown eyes and wants nothing more than love!
