Oct. 31, a neutered, male, black lab mix came up to our driveway. He does not have a collar but is wearing a new red harness. It is obvious that flea preventative was administered to his shoulders very recently. The vet said that he has an unregistered microchip. BTW, the vet was unwilling to take him. Someone has obviously taken care of him. Basically, he is friendly, mellow dog. He is good with teens, well fed, nails are in good shape, has recent flea preventative on his shoulder blades. We drove him to the vet and round the neighborhood looking for signs. He rides very well. He walks well on a leash and waits for it to be put on him before leaving the kennel. He is also a quiet dog. He only barks when someone comes up to the house. He is an indoor dog; he begs to come in our house. We keep him in a kennel outside; he accepts it and enters when told. When we walk him, he'll pull some when other dogs bark at him, but the minute they bark or charge, he backs away. He waits when you tell him to - no pulling �%81S He is a really good dog! But we cannot keep him. Our house/yard are overflowing with our own animals, as well as a stray dog that my son found three weeks ago. (which we still need to find a home for). We simply cannot add one more dog to our mix of animals. Because of the nature of my dogs and the addition of ano ther stray, three weeks prior, we are keeping this guy in a kennel separate from our dogs. Juggling so many animals, is something that we cannot keep up long term. We need to find a good home for him. We desperately need to find the owner or a foster home for him. I have listed him on several different sites. We need to find a home ASAP. I do require your vet's name and number - I want him to be taken care of. Thank you for your time!
