About Casey

Have you ever dreamed of having your very own Pikachu? Casey might be as close as you can get! This sweet 2.5 year old girl is about 40 lbs of electric energy and she wants to be the very best for you! Her tan spots and black ears make her look like a canine cosplay of the popular Pokemon. Poor Casey was clearly loved and spoiled early in life, until her owner passed away unexpectedly and she was left with nobody to care for her. She is still looking for that special bond with a new human and will be an incredibly loyal and loving companion. If you choose her, she will always choose you! Don't let her shape fool you, this girl has some mad hops when she's excited and could definitely keep up on hikes! She likes to run and play but is often content to nap nearby her human too. She also loves to play fetch! She is leash and house-trained and rides well in the car. She is typically great with all sizes of other dogs but can be a bit dominant and will need a couple days to figure out her place with new dogs. She would be perfectly happy as an only dog too. Casey is friendly with kids, though she can be a little nervous in new situations. She needs a home with a secure yard (or would be fine as a mostly indoor dog with regular walks) and no cats.
