About PEACHES

PEACHES is a cute little 2 yr. old Maltese / Shih Tzu Mix who weighs about 15 lbs. She and her sister were abandoned in a remote desert area last summer, nine long months ago. We were able to capture the sister who has since been adopted. PEACHES continued to elude us, however, for two more hot months while she survived on her own. Both girls were badly neglected. Due to lack of human interaction, PEACHES was initially apprehensive around people. She has been in rehabilitation with us at SAVE A SMALL DOG RESCUE for the past nine months, however, and has made significant improvement. In order to proceed even further in her development as a 'normal' happy dog, though, it is important for her to experience life with a family who can continue to love, guide and train her. She is very comfortable around dogs, so having a well adjusted companion dog to learn from would definitely be helpful. PEACHES has GREAT potential to be a very loving pet.
