About Apache

Apache has been with us just over a year. He started out as a foster, but got along so well with our other dog, we never looked for a home for him. Unfortunately, our other dog recently passed. Apache has no company during the day, and really needs more attention than we can give. He barks at other dogs at first, but becomes friends quickly. We believe he would not do well with cats, as he does catch and kill small animals in our backyard. Great with kids, men, women... loves attention. German Shepherd/Pyrenees mix. Crate trained, travels well, loves to run, but is also mellow when everyone is relaxing. Timid with authority. Not aggressive with people at all. Thinks he's a lapdog. Very affectionate.
