About Augustus

My name is Augustus, but you can call me GUS for short! I've got the best tan face with a white stripe down the middle and a plump little body. I like to think of myself as a classic-looking English Bulldog! I was rescued from the meat trade in China and am loving my new life with my foster family in Northern California. I'm only about 2 1/2 years young, and I prefer to be the youngest one in the house. I would do well with a dominant dog, but it's probably best I go to a home without small children because I'm still learning my strength. I need a strong human who preferably has bulldog experience and will communicate boundaries, but I like to learn! My foster mom thinks I'm very smart! I'm also an active guy and am ready to accompany you on long walks on or off my leash or any other adventures you want to bring me on! I adapt well and like to travel, as long as I'm by your side. At home, I like to wrestle, chew on my bones, and cuddle, and don't worry about cleaning up after me because I'm potty trained! I get my round figure from eating homemade dog food, but I'm a good eater and not too picky! If you're looking for a sweet, intelligent, adorable bulldog who wants to please you, I'm your guy!
