About Danny Dazzler

Bulldog
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Hi! I'm Danny Dazzler, and I'm ready to put a little razzle dazzle in your life! I'm a 3 year old English Bulldog and come from Sin City! It's a sin sometime left me at a shelter in such bad shape. Luck was on my side, and I was brought to San Diego where I've been living with my foster family, including a former Road Dog! I enjoy playing with my toys and my foster sister, at least until we both wear ourselves out! I am very curious, and I play like a typical rambunctious bully. I do well at the dog park, but I wouldn't be a good fit in a home with young children or small/insecure dogs since I'm 43 pounds and putting on more healthy weight. I eat my food like I'm starving at a Las Vegas buffet! I have been successfully feeding out of a food puzzle, scatter feeding, and hand feeding, but I still have the uncontrolled desire to inhale my food. With some love and patience, I'll learn to slow down! Matching my love of food is my love of people! So far, I haven't met a person that I didn't like! When I first came to my foster family, I wanted to be attached to the humans at all times. They are helping me focus and learn boundaries by teaching me how to sit on command. I have settled down a little bit, but I still insist on laying on someone's lap. I'm a lover! Speaking of love, I also love the ladies because I'm not neutered yet. I'm a gentleman and I sniff and kiss, but I don't hump. At home, I'm also improving on potty training. I've learned to use a doggie door and am having fewer accidents inside. I am also getting better about taking my naps inside a play pen when the humans have to leave me alone. I have a smaller kennel that I sleep in comfortably at night time. My crate comes in handy in the car because I get anxious on drives, but my foster family is working on it with me. I've got some typical, but manageable, bulldog issues. I had dry eyes that went untreated, leaving me with some scaring. The doctors say I can see, but my vision might be slightly blurry. Easy eye drops twice a day, and I'm on my way! I picked up a case of mites, but what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas; the mites are long gone! My fur is growing in beautifully. I do have some areas on my legs and toes that could be related to dermatitis to keep any eye on. Proper nutrition and monthly flea/mite treatment should keep me good to go! I do have a bald spot on the back of my neck that may never grow back, for the most part, it is hidden by my collar and cute wrinkles. I'm ready to place my bet that I'll be the best dog ever for the right family!
