About Donnie and Indie

Indie and Donnie are a pair of very sweet, personable and snuggly, male and female bonded rabbits looking for a loving guardian. Donnie is a two-year-old, blue-eyed, male white and tan Dutch rabbit. Indie is a three-year-old female Silver Marten rabbit. This loving pair share a large pen, use a litter box, and eat a healthy diet of free choice timothy and orchard hay, 1/4 cup of rabbit pellets a day, and a cup of fresh greens (Romaine, red and green-leaf lettuce, cilantro and a little bit of parsley, kale and carrots.) They love to come out of their pen and run around the house. They are just about perfectly litter box trained, but rabbits are known to chew, so rabbit proofing is a good idea. Their adoption fee of $100 as a pair benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits Rescue. If you'd like their entire set-up of exercise pen, carrying case, water and food bowls, litter box, pellets, hay and litter, that is available for an additional $100. They are being fostered in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.
